The Happy Hippie Jesus Show

From time to time I Google search Hippie Christian or some other related terms just to see who else is out there that might share some similar views. I am usually not able to find anything new but this week was the exception. I found a podcast produced by two United Methodist ministers, Jeremy Pressgrove and Bill Sardin. This is how they describe the Happy Hippy Jesus Show:

"Jeremy and Bill seek out guests from all walks of life to share their stories of transformation, compassion, love and hope. With a touch of humor The Happy Hippie Jesus Show is dedicated to keeping the Good News in the Gospel."

The episodes have a UM perspective, and at times they can be Theological Geeks, but they are never preachy and they have a great sense of humor combined with a good dose of Southern Hospitality. Bill and Jeremy have had some very interesting guests with stories of how they encounter Jesus and the many ways they share a little love and compassion in the world around them.

Also, they have a running discussion about whether or not Jesus was a Hippie. Early on in each interview they pose the question "Was Jesus a Hippie?" - their guests give a variety of responses.

You'll have to listen in to their podcasts in order to find out if Bill and Jeremy ever find the answer to the question "Was Jesus a Hippie" You can find The Happy Hippie Jesus Show at the following:
